What do I need?
An iPhone on iOS 26, and Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with the Neural Band. GlassTube runs on the glasses as a web app you add once in the Meta AI app, under your display glasses' web apps.
How do I pair my phone?
On the glasses, open From iPhone to see a six-character code, and type it in the iPhone app. You only do this once; the pair reconnects on its own. To move the glasses to a different phone, choose New code on the glasses.
A video will not play.
Put the phone and the glasses on the same Wi-Fi; that is the most reliable way to play. Then open Diagnostics on the glasses and run the self-test, which says whether video and search are working today. If it says to update the iPhone app, the glasses need a newer phone build.
How do I control playback?
Pinch to play or pause, swipe down for the next video, swipe left to go back (or to the previous video if you just started one), swipe right to jump ahead 10 seconds and swipe up to go back 10 seconds.
Can I search without the phone?
Yes. Choose Search on the glasses and walk the letter grid with the band, then pinch Search. Your recent searches sit above the grid.
Why sit still?
The picture floats over the real world, and black is see-through on the display. Watching is for when you are seated, not walking or driving.
What does "Send sign-in to glasses" do?
It gives your paired glasses your phone's Google session so they can open your subscriptions and playlists on their own. Only use it with glasses you own. Signing out on the phone clears it on both. See the privacy policy.
Do I need an account?
No. The optional GlassTube account only carries your lists, channels, recents, searches, settings and pairing to a new phone.
